Often the biggest savings can be found when booking a hotel, parking and transfer package. There are three main options to consider at Heathrow Airport:
Some of the hotels near Heathrow T4 offer on-site parking packages. If you book this option, you simply drive straight to your hotel on the day of your stay. From there, you park up, check-in at reception and enjoy your stay with the on-site restaurants, bars, leisure facilities and comfortable rooms. After a good night’s rest, you can either take a taxi to the airport or jump on the Heathrow Hoppa Bus. These buses cost £5.00 per adult each way and approximately depart every 30-minutes between 04:30 and 23:55.
The Holiday Inn M4J4, for example, offers on-site parking as part of a room package. There is a fee of £16.00 to park overnight on the night of your stay, but one week’s parking from the day of your flight is included within the price of £140 in September. From here, you can jump on the Heathrow Hoppa bus to the terminal.
Another way to save money on your hotel and parking is to choose an off-airport secure car park through APH. APH's car parks at Heathrow Airport hold the police-backed initiative Park Mark® Safer Parking Award. This is awarded to parking facilities that provide a safe environment for both vehicles and customers. It includes the use of CCTV, 24-hour staff and security fencing.
However, T4 does feature a number of car parks, and depending on the secure car park you choose, the transfer times to the airport will be slightly different:
For the highest level of convenience and a touch of luxury, choose a meet and greet parking service. For example, if you select the MBW option, you’ll park at the hotel on the night of your stay and, on the day of your departure, drive just 10-15-minutes to the airport terminal. A uniformed MBW driver will meet you there, take your keys and park your car securely. All you need to do is walk 2-8-minutes to the check-in desks. The car will be parked in a Park Mark approved site. On your return, MBW will deliver your vehicle back to you at the airport so you can get on the road straight away. The MBW service is available between 04:00-23:59.
For maximum savings on your Heathrow T4 hotel and parking deals, it’s usually best to book both together as a package. For example, the most affordable hotel only prices start from £69.00 at the Mercure Heathrow. However, if you book them together as a package, it will cost you just £122.95 rather than £130.50.
On the other hand, if you’d prefer a hotel with on-site parking, you could opt for the next cheapest deal with the Thistle Heathrow. Prices start from £139.00 for the hotel with a week of parking, but it’s worth noting that you will need to pay £5.00 per person each way for the Heathrow Hoppa Bus.
