Grain Store Café & Bar at Gatwick Airport’s South Terminal is the first new incarnation of the multi award-winning Grain Store restaurant in London. Heralding a new direction in airport cuisine, chef Bruno Loubet has developed a menu focusing on healthy food and locally sourced vegetable. In fact, the vast majority of ingredients will have been sourced from within 30miles of the airport. An all-new breakfast menu offers tasty options to start the day, from coffees and pastries to hearty full English breakfasts. Lunch and dinner menus feature Grain Store specials, alongside sandwiches, burgers and ‘old favourites’ given the Grain Store touch. There’s a kids’ menu, too, so everyone’s welcome. The menu will be part of Gatwick Airport’s promise to serve meals within 15 minutes providing premium quality food while giving passengers peace of mind about flight plans. There’s good news for travellers looking for a healthy eating option on the plane – the restaurant will soon be introducing takeaway bento boxes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
