Directions

The APH Park & Ride car park is located within the airport grounds, near to the Holiday Inn. For your convenience, it is next to a fuel station, supermarket and fast-food restaurant, so you have supplies and refreshments to hand.

From the M11:

  1. Follow signs from the M11 towards the Mid Stay Car Park.
  2. Drive towards the Holiday Inn Express 
  3. Enter the car park, which is immediately on the right-hand side, just before the entry to the hotel car park.
     

Arrival instructions

On arrival at the car park:

  1. Drive into the car park and park in one of the customer bays directly ahead.
  2. Head over to Reception to confirm your booking, and hand over your keys.
  3. Hop on the minibus that will be arranged for your five-minute drive to the terminal entrance.

Please note that your vehicle may be moved to a different parking facility while you are away. All car parks are within the airport boundary, and carry the Park Mark Safer Parking Award.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check in and transfer to the terminal.

Return instructions

On return to Stansted Airport:

  1. Collect your luggage, clear customs, and call the car park returns number from the Arrivals Hall, to arrange a pick up.
  2. Take the minibus transfer back to the car park. 
  3. Collect your keys from Reception, and your car that will be waiting for you, and continue your journey home.
     

Important information

Please note the car park can only accept vehicles of maximum 5m in length.

Your need to leave your keys when you drop off your car, which may be moved and stored in a different car park facility while you are away.  All the car park facilities are within the airport boundary, and carry the Park Mark Safer Parking Award. All drivers are fully insured.

Transfer details

No need to wait around for scheduled transfer buses. The APH Park & Ride car park at Stansted runs minibus shuttle transfers on demand. When you are ready, the staff organise your transfer to the terminal, and back again upon your return. It is easy, quick and comfortable, with the journey time between car park and terminal just five minutes.

The car park is open day and night throughout the year: 24/7, 365 days.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
